#1, Same love by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
Macklemore is a white rapper that uses his song to bring issue to life and to the attention of his fans
In his latest album "The Heist" he made a song called Same Love
The song is talking about equal rights and how it does not matter if you are gay or straight, white or black, male or female, that everyone should be treated equally
Love is love and it should not matter what sex you are attracted to
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis grew up surrounded by gay adults which probably influenced them to write this song

#2, Everything is a Remix
The video was talking about how almost every type of creation was inspired by an event that occurred in the past
He used an apple as an example of how Apple “stole” the idea of a touchscreen from another individual
Also how their rhythms of some songs sound very similar maybe even identical to past songs
The picture below is a perfect example of “Everything is a Remix.” It shows that we either copy, or use a combination of things to transform something “new”

#3, The Secret of Kells
This is a movie about an adventure by who concurs his fear by the end of the movie
It is a 2D(flat) cartoon movie
Very pleasing to loot at because of the amazing at work that is included
The characters look very simple but the artist used bright colors in such a unique that is simply astonishing
As you can see the artwork in this movie is remarkable and just nothing you’ve seen before
There is so much detail and effort put into every single frame of the movie
I was very impressed while watching this film

#4, What If Money Were No Object
This video is about a philosopher named Alan Watts giving a lecture about life
In this short 3 minute video he is explaining about what type of career you should chose for your future
To do something you love to do instead of doing something society told you to do
He explains how you have to have desire and passion to do what you want to do or you will give up the moment it gets hard
Life is too short to waste time on stuff you don't like doing.

#5, Tall Painting
The video is about people using a 3D structure and paint to make a very cool layered painting
They start on top of the structure and start dropping point on it
When they do, the paint travels from the top to the bottom and carries onto the floor
They continue doing this with different colors and start to layer it until it covers the structure
His is a very cool and colorful project and really on a 3D level

#8, The Creators Project
It is very colorful and detailed
The idea of putting small lights together to make a bigger picture is amazing
Reminds me pixels on a computer and television
You can make almost any image and also sculptures because it is 3 dimension
Reminds me of a picture of the world at night with all of the lights on
Small bright dots like the universe

#9, Pure White Paper
Very amazing using many small price of papers and putting them together to make a sculpture
They make sculptures such as skulls and human body parts
The projects look like they take a very long time to do but I think it is worth it looking at the amazing work they have so far
I like the way the sculptures stretch and return to its normal position
They can literally make anything out of this
A great way to use recycled paper

#10, Banana as a Canvas
He transforms banana skins into his canvas Using techniques such as pointillism and stippling
Recreates famous paintings from the past
The work is very detailed and seems very difficult to master
It is very creative and is the first time I've seen something like this
The work does not last long because the banana rots away after a certain amount of time

#1, Before I Die…
Candy Chong is an artist that creates and that prompts people to think about their secrets, wishes and hopes and then shares it
In this project she wanted to see what people wanted to accomplish before their death
“It’s about knowing that you are not alone.”
It was very creative about how she made good use of public space that wasn’t being used
Also the fact that she got other people involved in the art piece. Without the people this could not have worked
Very positive and really makes you think of what to accomplish before our deaths

#2, The Night Watch- Flash Mob
I found this very creative and well put together
The fact that they were able to make a real life replica of the original painting was marvelous
I liked how they had a story behind every painting before it was revealed
Also that the action took place within the audience members
The costumes looked exact to the ones in the painting
Favorite part was when the frame came down

#3, Alexa Meade Human Painting
It is very original and different
The fact that she painted the entire body and relates it to the shadow
“Your body is my canvas”
Instead of traditional art where we take a 3D object and recreate It on a 2D object(paper)
She opposes to that technique as she uses the 3D object makes it appear 2D
She started off by playing with shadow. She wanted then to stand out
This type of work is cool because it looks like an optical illusion. It confuses the mind on how the eyes processed the object in space

#4, How to Sketch with Electronics
This video is about a woman named Leah Buechley using electronics to sketch
She designs and builds technology
She uses electronic circuit boards and a copper pen to make things light up
It very artistic and at the same scientific
My favourite part of the video was when she made copper lines to represent a certain object and was able to make a mini piano with only a few lines
I also liked the fact it is not only 2D, but she used light to represent other things that are 3D, such as buildings and flowers

#5, Cut Paper Art
This work is done by a woman named Hina Aoyama
She cuts details into a sheet of paper to create super fine lines that are very fragile
She makes stuff like butterflies, butterfly wings, hand written letters, and lotus flowers
“To create a finest cut-off beyond the level of the very time consuming needles lace making.”
She only uses scissors to make her work!
This is very difficult thing to do and I am amazed at the fact that there is so much detail put into each work

#6, Pencil Crayon Sculpture
This work was done by Jennifer Maestre
The sculptures were originally inspired by the form and function of the sea urchin
"To make the pencil sculptures, I take hundreds of pencils, cut them into 1-inch sections, drill a hole in each section (to turn them into beads), sharpen them all and sew them together. The beading technique I rely on most is peyote stitch."
This work is inspired by animals, plants, other art, Ernst Haeckel, Odilon Redon, mythology
Using different colour pencil crayons to help make the sculpture stand out more.
Can pretty much create a sculpture of anything out of crayons.

#7, Mixed Feelings
This is a song named Mixed Feelings written by Logic
Logic is a mixed race artist and is talking about what he had to go through because he was mixed
his father was black and his mother was white
In this song he is trying to give the voice to the voiceless and trying to break the "biracial jail cell"
Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech was also in the song to represent a sense of freedom and hope
“I know the issue with my race ain’t going to last”
A very inspirational artist that speaks on topics that are helpful to others

#8, Painting On Water
Using different techniques to designs which seem unrealistic on water
It seems that there are cultural backgrounds to these art works
It is very similar to the Chinese artwork with the nature aspect to it
The designs consists of flowers, leaves, plants, etc.
Also this can be used as a way to paint your nails.
By doping your fingers the water after making a design it gives it a marble look
Very amazing and unique type of work

#9, Art From Ordinary Things
Great inspiration for artists that are using random items to make art work
Very amazing how the pieces don't break from being too fragile
The egg shells is very delicate
I love how there are videos of all the steps taken to make this marvelous work
There is a high amount of risk when working on this
Also the fact that the objects are 3D the planning is amazing
